The gentle way he moves his head is called cabeceo in my country (those who read “The Fraternity” know what I’m talking about). And it could be argued that Sherlock is not inviting John to dance tango, but let me tell you: this cabeceo is the way your body betrays your inner thoughts most of the time :D
